As you may recall, I advised you (AML) of the status of this shaft (an appazent <br />collapse). <br />There are no pre-permit aerial photographs in our file. The shaft is shown on the Cattle Creek, <br />CO 7.5 Minute USGS Quadrangle. This quadrangle was compiled in 1961 from 1960 aerial <br />photography. Thus the road to the airshaft and the airshaft probably appeared on the 1960 <br />photography. Thus the road and shaft aze~likely pre-law disturbances. <br />The shaft is located in the NE t/a NW t/a Sec 34 T7S R89W, approximately 1 mile ENE of the <br />base area of the Sunlight Ski Area (see attached map). <br />1 Enclosure as stated <br />Cc: David Berry, w/enclosure <br />Dan Hernandez, w/enclosure <br />
