The Division has no control over whether a
batch plant remains on a permitted site. The only reason that a
batch plant is included in the mining and reclamation plans for
this pit is to make sure that, if a batch plant is put at the
operation, the proper environmental controls will be in place
during and after its operation.
If you have any questions or need further clarification of Division
policy concerning whether a batch plant must be included in a
permitted area, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Carl B.
