Box 1430 <br />Palisade, CO 81526 <br />1993 COAL MINED LAND RECLAMATION AWARD <br />Dear Jim: <br />I am pleased to advise you that Powderhom Coal Company has been awarded the Large <br />Underground Coal Mine Honorable Mention Award for the Cameo and Roadside Mine in recognition <br />of outstanding pertormance and professionalism in conducting mining and reclamation activities at <br />a large surface coal mine. The award is sponsored jointly by the Colorado Division of Minerals and <br />Geology, Office of Mined Land Reclamation and the Colorado Mining Association. <br />At your eadiest convenience, we would Ilke to have three or four 35mm slides illustrating your <br />reclamation accomplishments for use at the award presentation. The slides will be retained by the <br />Office of Mined Land Redamation as a record of the award. <br />The award will be presented at the Reclamation Awards Luncheon, noon, Friday, March 25, 1994, <br />during the 97th National Western Mining Conference. Robert J. Uram, Director Designate, U.S. <br />Office of Surface Mining Redamation 8 Enforcement has been invited to speak and assist in <br />presenting the awards. The luncheon will be held at the Radisson Hotel Denver, 1550 Court Place, <br />Derner, Colorado. <br />Please advise us, at your earliest convenience, who will be accepting the award.
