BANTA, Dlreetor <br />DATE: August 28, 1989 <br />70: Jeff Clayton <br />FROM: Tim King '~ <br />RE: Edna Mine Topsoil Replacement <br />On August 22, 1989, I sampled topsoil replacement depths at the Edna Mine. <br />The soil appeared slightly moist and dark with only small rocks of three inch <br />diameter Dresent. Many roots were also present. <br />At this time only two areas have been topsoiled, one in 1985, and the other <br />in 1988. The approved topsoil replacement depth for both of these areas is <br />six inches. No samples showed less than this depth.
