Minor
revision no. 77 (MR-77) and Technical revision no. 42 (TR-42) were
two of the permitting actions for which materials have not been
provided to the OSM.
The Division recently mailed a letter to the operators directly
related to this topic. It outlined the procedures and
responsibilities of each of the involved parties related to
providing materials related to permitting. I have enclosed a copy
of this letter.
However, I found these instructions to be somewhat confusing and
difficult to understand. Therefore, I have attached a brief
summary of this letter as it would directly relate to a federal
mine like the Golden Eagle mine. Please review this information
and let me know if you are unclear as to what materials to send to
who and when.
If you have questions, please call me.
Sine re y ~ n
K A.
