V <br />1288 County Road 205 <br />Durango, Colorado 81301 <br />Re: Mine Development, Inc.'s "Neglected Mine" File No. M-81-165, La Plata <br />County <br />Dear Mr. Brosseau: <br />Your letter in response i:o the Division's June 17, 1986 Inspection Report was <br />received by the Division on July 23, 1986. <br />Your request for temporary cessation was not accompanied by the required site <br />maintenance plans to be accomplished for the duration of the temporary <br />cesssation status, including, but not limited to: <br />A) diversion ditch monitoring and inspection; <br />B) monitoring and stabilization of the north bank of the access road; <br />C) monitoring and corrective measure implementation regarding site <br />runoff and erasion ;etc. <br />Please be aware that a substitute financial warranty (57,000.00) requires <br />remittal to the Division prior to the August 25, 1986 effective cancellation <br />date of the current bond. Failure to replace the bond would result in a <br />possible violation of C.R.S. 34-32-117(6)(a): <br />"Financial Warranties shall be maintained in good standing for the <br />entire life of any permit issued under this article.
