The contract would be extended for a 3-year period.
2, The contractor would recognize that the property is being used for
livestock grazing and therefore would utilize reasonable care con-
sistent with appropriate animal husbandry in conducting the
spraying operations.
3, The bid would be broken down as to the following categories:
a. Tractor and applicator per hour;
b. Other mechanized applicator (i.e., 4-wheeler, etc.) per hour;
c. Operator per hour;
d. Operator using hand sprayer, backpack, etc., per hour.
4, The amount to be paid would also include the out-of-pocket costs
for chemical and any other necessary materials.
5, The successful contractor would be required to spray at intervals
on the property, depending on conditions, but not more than three
(3) separate times in any given growing season.
6, The contractor would agree to move onto the property to conduct
spraying upon five (5) days notice.
Red Cortner has talked to two or three people here locally and I am
sure we can provide three bidders upon relatively short notice, once we
determine which way we're going with this thing.
Thank you very muc
Yours~ve;y_ xruJS+,
cc - Mr. Red Cortner, P.O.
