Long.
Division Director
RE: McClane Canyon Mine (C-80-004): Permit Renewal and Permit
Revision
Dear Ms. Griffin:
As per our discussion on June 1, 1992 I am faxing you the
information you requested in regards to McClane Canyon Mine's
(C-80-004) Permit.Renewal. Permit Renewal #3 (RN-03) was reviewed
concurrently with Permit Revision #1 (PR-O1). Information
pertaining to internal technical review is found with PR-O1.
Enclosed please find internal communications regarding technical
issues.
In response to your inquiry about responses from the State
Historical Preservation Office and from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife
Service the Division notified these offices of the permit revision
and permit renewal on July 12, 1991. No response was received from
either office. The Division imposed stipulation 19 since sections
15, 16, 21, 22, and 27 added to the permit in PR-O1 have never had
a cultural and historic survey conducted upon them.
I hope that this information will answer the questions you have
regarding this permit renewal. If there are more questions
outstanding please contact me.
Sincerely,
~ ~~~
Jan t Bi ns
Recl at'on Specialist
C:\wp51\jhb\dg
