• III IIIIIIIIIIIII III • ~ ~ ~~G~
Mr. Richard D. Lamm
Governor of the State of Colorado
Colorado State Capitol
Denver, Colorado
Dear Governor Lamm,
February 24, 1981
4839 Weld Co. Rd. 24 3/4
Longmont, Colorado
~: .,.. .; ,~~1
"~
Weld County gravel operation had been mining and dredgine
the area adjacent to my property without a permit; and in the
procedure my property had been damaged.
I complained to the Colorado Mined Land and Reclamation
Department; and then had to contest the granting of a permit
to Weld County all summer. According to the Rules and Regu-
lations and An Act ", Colorado State Legislature on mining
and dredging, Weld County, through its many mining violations,
should not have been granted a mining and dredging permit.
At the penalty board meeting by the Colorado Division
of Mined Land and Reclamation, July 25, 1980, decisions were
made decisions of prejudice, injustice, laxity, and perjury.
The evidence is in the taped minutes of the meeting and other
documents.
My written objections to the board of granting a permit
to Weld County were never discussed objectively; and my right,
as expressed in the Rules and Regulations have been completely
ignored. Moreover, my appeal for a_hearing_was_not granted by
Colorado Mined Land and Reclamation Division.
