A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the <br />fast time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase m~u be in the :drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and multi=page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers <br />does work. DMG has determined that a program called "LfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with <br />QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this <br />software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There aze many odter programs that work as well, such as <br />"Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". <br />Instructions: <br />1. Insert die CD into your computer. <br />2. Allow time for the CD to install. <br />3. Eject the CD from the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into dre computeC. <br />5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Automn, which runs the QuickView <br />setup program, has also been copied to this CD. if the Autorun program <br />does NOT work, you will need to manually install dre QuickView program. <br />L~stmctions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />with the CD or can be viewed at www.minina.state.co.us. <br />The Permit FLe document images can be viewed In the reception area of the DMG office or Wey can be purchased on s CD or <br />DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost covers the time and labor of making the CD.
