Computer requirements to use the DMG document Imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on yow computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Futwe use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the softwaze. 2. The CD or DVD that you pwchase ~u be is the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .df extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on yow computer that will handle single and mold=page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing pYOgrams are called "Windows Pictwe and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer drat comes withpre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG has determined that a program called "L{anView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configwed as yow default .df viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and regishation are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Previelr" and "Imaging for Windows". Instrucdons• 1. Insert the CD into yow computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autontn, which runs the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView progam. Llstrucdons for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minin¢.state.co.us. The Permit File document images can be viewed In the reception area of the DMG office or they can be pwchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost covers the dme and labor of making the CD. DMG cannot provide computer related support.
