Johnson <br />Assistant Attorney General <br />National Resources Section <br />1525 Sherman St., 5th Floor <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Re: Corley agreement with DMG <br />Dear Mr. Johnson: <br />I have received your duplicate originals of the final version of <br />the agreement concerning diversion of water into Magpie Creek. <br />The agreement is acceptable and I have discussed it with Dr. <br />Corley preparatory to his executing the agreement. Also, we <br />don't have any problem with the final version of the agreement <br />between the Division and Harrison. <br />However, we have nothing anywhere that acknowledges the <br />Division's commitment to professional engineering standards <br />regarding planning for the work to be done in the Magpie Creek <br />Diversion Area. This need not be included in these agreements <br />but some letter or writing acknowledging that the Division's <br />engineering will meet some reasonably acceptable professional <br />standards so that future major errors will not be made is <br />important to Dr. Corley. <br />Could you please give this some thought and maybe discuss it with <br />the Division. <br />Otherwise, the documents are all set and ready to go. <br />Very truly yours, <br />/~~~ o <br />R2 tDo <br />Attorney At Law <br />CC: Dr. William D.
