(the original applicant) to <br />Salt Creek Mining Company (the proposed permittee). Salt Creek dining Company <br />is a partnership between Loma Mining Company, a subsidiary of Sheridan <br />Enterprises, Inc. and Mack Fuel Supply, Inc. a subsidiary of Colorado Ute <br />Electric Association. <br />In response to the Solicitor's concern, the recommendation memorandum has beer. <br />re-written to clarify (a) who the original applicant was (b) that Salt Creek <br />?fining Company applied for the application to be transferred and (c) that OSPf <br />has verified that the successor applicant submitted infotmation required by 30 <br />CFR 782. In addition, the "Notice of Decision and Availability of Technical <br />and Environmental Analysis", to be published after Secretarial approval of the <br />mine plan, will advise the public of the change in ownership of the mine. <br />• <br />
