Computer requtremenb to we the DMG document Imaging CD (or DVD): I. A program called QuickView wiE be copied ro the CD and moat be iaatalled on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the fast titae. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does sot require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase mus be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a /~ or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for ,tif filar on your computer that will handle single and multi-page documeap. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs an called "Windows PicNre and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG hoe determined that a program called "IrfanV iew", which cm be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downbading "[rfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration a[e the user's risponerbiliry. Theta are many other programs that work as well, each as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Iostruetloaa• 1. Ltsert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD ro install. 3. $ject the CD Ikotn the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autonm, which nuts the QuickViaw setup program, has also been copied t0 this CD. if the Autumn progrem does NOT work; you will need ro manually install the l2trickView program.
