NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY APPLICATION FOR LOGICAL MINING UNIT (LMU) MODIFICATION APPROVAL EFFECTIVE 1/26/93. The Montrose District of the Bureau of Land Management has received an application from the National King Coal Company, 1315 Main Ave. - Suite 314, Durango, Colorado, 81302, for a logical mining unit (LMU) modification of an approved LMU in accordance with 43 CFR 3487. The application for the proposed LMU modification is available for review at the BLM Montrose District office at 2465 South Townsend, Montrose, Colorado. The proposed LMU modification contains lands from Federal coal leases and non-Federal lands. The descriptions of the lands contained within each Federal coal lease and other lands which are to form the LMU are as follows: Federal Coal LEASE NUMBER P-058300 (160 acres) T.35N, R.11W, N.M.P.M. Section 31: SE/4, and NE/4; Section 32: SE/4, NW/4, and W/2 NW/4. LEASE NUMBER C-29125 (240 acres) T.35N, R.11W, N.M.P.M. Section 31: N/2 NE/4 SE/4, S/2 NE/4 SE/4, and SE/4 SE/4. Section 32: SW/4. LEASE NUMBER COC49465 (194 acres) T.35N, R.11W, N.M.P.M. Section 31: Lot 4, SW/4 NE/4, SE/4 SW/4, and W/2 SE/4. Private Coal NUNTINGTON LEASE (160 acres) T.34N, R.11W, N.M.P.M. Section 6: E/2 NW/4, and W/2 NE/4. State Coal COLORADO LEASE ~ CO-607 (160 acres) T.35N, R.12W, N.M.P.M. Section 36: SE/4. TOTAL ACREAGE FOR LMU MODIFICATION: 914 NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION The Montrose District of the Bureau of Land Management has received an application from the National King Coal Company, 1315 Main Ave. - Suite 314, Durango, Colorado, 81302, for a logical mining unit (LMU) modification of an approved LMU in accordance with 43 CFR 3487. The approval of this application is proposed to be effective 1/6/86.
