11. Miscellaneous Steel Tank - This cylindrical steel tank is lying <br />on t s st a an is st uated behind the wash plant near the <br />lower mine or portal entry. The feature is shown on Exhibit 3A <br />as item 33. <br />Dimensions: 6' diameter x 19.5' long. <br />12. Wash Plant Facility - The general location and orientation of <br />is s ruc ure is s own as item 34 on Exhibit 3A. The <br />approximate outside dimensions of this facility are shown on <br />Exhibits 6A through 6E. Contents inside the plant are not <br />shown, but include such items as light fixtures, conveyors, <br />hoppers, pumps, motors, tanks of various sizes and composition, <br />vibrating screens, compressors, an electrical control room and <br />office, bins and loading chutes, a large belt debris magnet, <br />many pieces of machinery and equipment associated with coal <br />processing, materials/part/supplies, piping, conduit and <br />electrical wiring, processing chemicals including flocculent, a <br />large hoist, and other mining related materials. The plant <br />contains several levels accessed on the east and west ends by <br />steel grate type stairways. Several levels contain elevated <br />concrete slab type floors and roofs. The type and extent of <br />reinforcing used in the concrete portions of the facility is <br />unknown, as well as the thickness of ground level concrete <br />slabs and footers and foundations. The location, nature and <br />extent of any subsurface utilities or features related to the <br />wash plant are also known. <br />13. Clean Coal Bin Conveyor - This double conveyor begins at the <br />ower wes en o e wash plant building and extends westward <br />approximately 263' to the top of the clean coal bin. The <br />shorter and narrower of the two conveyors ends approximately <br />120' from the west end of the wash plant main building. The <br />location of this structure is shown as item 17 on Exhibit 3A. <br />Dimensions: large conveyor cross section - box frame 5'Hx4'W; <br />catwalk 3'W; top of box frame to top of conveyor <br />cover 2.5'H; <br />small conveyor cross section - box frame <br />5'Hx3.5'W; top of box frame to top of conveyor <br />cover 2.5'H; <br />Supports: #1 (from clean coal bin) - concrete foundations <br />(2) each 2.5'Wx2.5'L; thickness, depth below grade <br />and type/extent of reinforcing used unknown; steel <br />A-frame portion is 33'H (foundation to bottom of <br />conveyor box frame) by 18'W (base) to 5.5'W (top). <br />_11_ <br />
