Pro.iect Description <br />The following undertaking is located in: <br />Moffat County <br />T 5 N, R 86 H, Section 31; T 5 N. R 87 H, Section 36. <br />Project Name: Cyprus' Coal Lease COC 53560. <br />This undertaking includes (describe type, scope, schedule, acreage, methods of <br />undertaking): Cyprus Twentvmile Coal Company (Cyprus) has obtained a lease from <br />the Bureau of Land Management to operate an under¢round mine on split estate land <br />Due to the above Federal undertaking (as determined by the Bureau of Land <br />Management) and Metcalf Archaeological Consultants and pursuant to the <br />Programmatic Agreement (2/6/87), the BLM seeks your concurrence in the following <br />action(s): <br />(Check as appropriate, below) <br />% Determination of Eligibility <br />X Determination of Effect <br />X Method of Treatment (if not avoided) <br />to subside three or four feet. Lesser amounts of ¢round subsidence will occur <br />elsewhere in the lease. A total of 560 acres are encompassed by the lease with <br />about 300 acres underlaid by long wall panels. <br />
