remains at the site inside a small house. My understanding is that
the responsible parties were to remove the equipment during the
1993 field season. If and when that happens, this site will need
reclamation and the proper abandonment reports fled within 60 days
of reclamation.
Response - The Bureau of Mines still has not removed its equipment
from the site. Once the equipment is removed TCC will proceed with
abandoning and reclaiming the site. Presently, it is not known
when the Bureau will remove its equipment.
DMG Comment - Well 006-87-1 - This old water monitoring site was
rendered ineffective due to a casing separation shortly after
completion. The Division hereby finds no adverse environmental,
health, or safety effect and TCC should commence with the
abandonment and reclamation of this hole. Please file the proper
abandonment reports within 60 days of reclamation.
Response - The well was grouted as described in the attached
abandonment report.
DMG Comment - Well 006-82-2 - Same comments apply as well 006-87-1.
Response - The same response applies as was presented for well 006-
87-1.
DMG Comment - Well 91001M - This developmental hole was twinned,
the upper 70 feet completed as a monitoring well. Completion
diagrams were submitted to the Division on April 26, 1993 and an
abandonment report was also received March 23, 1993.
Response - No response required.
DMG Comment - Well 91002 - This developmental hole is reclaimed.
The vegetation on the site is poor and consists mainly of weeds as
of July, 1993. TCC should ensure that the site is properly
prepared and seeded prior to the onset of winter. The Division has
an abandonment report on file for this well.
Response - The site was sprayed to eliminate the weeds and reseeded
as per the Division's recommendation.
DMG Comment - Well 91M005 - This developmental well was completed
in the Twentymile Sandstone rather than the Wadge as originally
planned. The Division does not have a completion diagram for this
well. Please submit this information. Also, this drill pad shows
poor vegetation development and needs work to establish vegetation.
Response - The completion diagram is attached, and the site was
reseeded this fall as per the Division's recommendation.
DMG Comment - Well 91M006 - This monitoring well is completed on
(sic) the Wadge overburden. The Division also needs the completion
diagram for this well. Also, vegetation at this site is poor and
