Please check one below and return this form with your payment to DMG. Computer requirements to nse the DMG docoment imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the fnst time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not requve a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DYD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will comain files with the .tif e~dension. There nceds to be an image viewing application for .tif fdes on your computer that will handle single and multi-page documents. l?a a Wiadows XP computer, the default viewing programs ere called "Windows Pichue and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do nar work with tZuickView. The Lnaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IrfaoView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tifviewer. DMG does not support or endorse this software andthe licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview° and "Imaging for Windows". InstruMions• 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time far the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the wmputer. S. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called lTrickView Autonm, which runs the QuickView setup Program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorim program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the t~uickView program. Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon Rquest• with the CD or can be viewed at www.minin¢.state.w.us. The Permit File document images can 6e viewed in the reception area of the DMG office or they can be parchsaed on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost rnvers the time sad labor of making the CD.
