Lochhead
Executive Dnecmr
Michael B Long
Division Director
I inadvertently left out a statement concermimg the feeding of cattle at the Hamilton Mine in my last
letter to you. Studies have shown that feeding cattle on reclaimed land has proven to be benificial
to the overall recalmation efforts, therefore, the Division is allowing this practice to be utilized at the
mine if so desired. Besides adding natural nutrients to the soil from the manure, seeds from the hay
being fed will more than likely aid in the growth of benificial plants at the site.
Should you have any questions or are in need of additional information, please contact me.
Sincerely,
~~
Harry B.
