Background and history of the site <br />a. Forfeited site due to operator bankruptcy <br />b. State is now in control of site and monies <br />c. Landowner expressed concern about weeds during bond release <br />d. State is carrying out weed spraying as per agreement <br />III. Objectives of the Project <br />a. Spray road cut and fill slopes to eradicate Houndstongue <br />b. Chemical appropriate to effectively kill target weed <br />c. Spray at such time to expect good kill ( weather factor) <br />IV. Bid Specifications <br />A. Include cost of all chemicals, labor and equipment <br />b. Include an hourly rate for additional spraying as <br />authorized by the Project manager <br />c. Application area will be defined at the pre-bid meeting <br />V. Requirements of all bidders <br />a. Proper licensing through the Dept. of Aq. <br />b. Evidence of insurance <br />c. Bids to be received at Division by 4:00 pm May 20, 1994 <br />d. Project to start within 2 weeks of notification. <br />e. Notify Division within 48 hours of start <br />
