Computer requirements to use the DMG document imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called Quic]cView will be copied to the CD and must be installed oa your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive.. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi=page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes withpre-Windows XP computers. does work DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from h~fanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "ItfanView", it needs to be configltred as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this softwaze and the licensing and registration aze the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Instructions• 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autumn, which runs the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. Tf the Autorun program does NOT work, you will need to manually install rite QuickView program. Instructions for manually installing QttickView are available upon request .with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.atate.co.us. The Permit File document images can be viewed in the reception area of the DMG office or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase coat covers the time and labor of making the CD. DMG cannot provide computer related sunaort.
