The permittee
currently has on deposit with the Division a corporate surety bond in the amount of
$3,839,884, of which $3,071,961 has not been approved for release in previous bond
releases. There is adequate bond on deposit.
PART III- COMMENTS AND REQUESTED REVISIONS OF PERNIIT APPLICATION
Based on the current Midterm Review, the Division finds that permit application C-80-001
contains a deficiency, as described below. The
revision is necessary to ensure compliance with Section 2.03.3(1) which requires that all
information in the permit application be current and presented cleazly.
Reclamation plan for 3.3-acre gravel pad area (location of former tipple} at Oak Creek
entrance. In bond release SL-8 it became appazent that upon final bond release the currently
approved permanent status of the gravel pad may conflict with county zoning. Please revise
the reclamation plan for the gravel pad to include the option of regrading and revegeta6ng the
gravel pad, should county approval not be obtained for leaving the pad in its current
condition.
Edna Mine Page 7 March 26, 2004
Midterm Review
