Yage 1 of 1
Brown, Sandy
From: Brown, Sandy
Sent: Monday, October 02, 2006 4:30 PM
To: Mathews, Dan
Subject: FW: Quaker Coal Company, Inc. Chapter 11
Attachments: Quaker Coal Co. Chap 11 Proceeding.TlF
Dan,
I talked to Cheryl about this document. Just to be certain, she contacted Sandra Freeburger to notify her that we are no longer a
claimant in the Quaker bankruptcy case. She also told Ms. Freeburger that we had not been notified previously, despite what this
document says. Ms. Freeburger was glad Cheryl called to notify her we were no longer a claimant and she apologized for the lack
of notification.
Sandy
From: Brown, sandy
Sent: Thursday, September 28, 2006 1:48 PM
To: 'cheryl.linden@state.co.us'
Subject: Quaker Coal Company, Inc. Chapter 11
Hi Cheryl,
Here is the 'First Omnibus Objection to Claims' we received regarding the bankruptcy case for Quaker Coal and the Roadside
Mine. To remind you, the Roadside permit was transferred to Snowcap Coal Company (SCC). SCC posted a new bond.
Therefore, we no longer would have a claim with the Quaker Coal Company and I don't think we need to send a response to the
Objection to Claims. Please let me know if we need to do anything.
Thank you,
Sandy
10/2/2006
