All hourly personnel have <br />been temporarily furloughed effective oa May 2, 1986. The mine <br />will be maintained is a "ready" mode during the shutdown, and <br />coal processing and shipping will be continued on a limited basis <br />by salazied personnel. The cessation ie expected to last no <br />longer than ninety days. Ice the unlikely event that the mine is <br />not brought back to active status by August 2, 1986, the Mined <br />Laced Reclamation Division will be notified and the information <br />required bq Rule 4.30. i<2)(a)-(d) will be supplied. <br />During this temporary shutdown period, all water and ground <br />control monitoring activities will continue according to approved <br />monitoring schedules contained is permit No, C-014-81 <br />I will be happy to answer any questions you may have or <br />further discuss this matter at your convenience. <br />nc rely, <br />` ~~C~- <br />David R.
