Long
Division Director
Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG)
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
RE' Siloam Mine Permit No M-77~
Dear Mr. Long:

I~ cif ' 0 nJ97
r~__ _~__--~~

...~ ,,,
BMIFrance is in receipt of Ferd Mueller's letter to you dated January 29, 1997.
Mr. Mueller notes two items that we wish to address. The first being, is that his
letter refers to a meeting with DMG at the site on January 24, 1997. As the
permit holder, BMIFrance requests that we are to be included in any such visits to
the mine in the future.
Secondly, BMIFrance has no objection if the State sees fit to grant Mr. Mueller's
request to continue his mining activity. We trust that if DMG determines to fulfill
his request, we will not be held liable for his operations and that this mining
activity will not be "piggy backed" on our permit privileges.
As noted before, BM1France is committed honoring our permit obligations. We
are in the process of securing the additional survey information that was listed in
DMG's inspection report dated January 24, 1997.
Please do not hesitate to contact me or my associate Ellen Arnold, should you have
any questions with regards to these issues.
Yours very truly,
~~~~~
Gary D.
