The monitoring plan was submitted under
Rule 2.05.6(3)(b)(iv) and includes the following [Rule 4.05.13(2)]:
Monthly sampling for: pH, electrical conductivity, temperature, Total Suspended Solids
(TSS), and flow.
Quarterly sampling forpH; Conducrivity at 25
(HCO3-), Calcium (Ca+z), Magnesium (Mg'Z), Ammonia (NH3), Nitrate-Nitrite,
Phosphate (POa"s as P), Sodium (Na~, Sulfate (SO4 ), Arsenic (As), Iron (Fe), Lead (Pb),
Manganese (Mn), Mercury (Hg), Selenium (Se), Zinc (Zn), and Total Suspended Solids
(total recoverable metals).
In addition to the monitoring discussed above, the Operator is required to monitor (see page 4.05-
15,PAP) discharges, from all Colorado Discharge Permit System (CDPS) discharge points
(sediment ponds} as required by the mine's CDPS permit. Results of this monitoring are reported
to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) on a quarterly basis
and to the Division on a yearly basis.
H_.Transfer of WellsRule 405>14
No transfer of wells.is pmposed_ AU monitoring wells wr7l be`reclaimed'prior to bond release
I.
