..2- <br />Also producing coal in North Park is the [/alden Coal Company Bourg Strip mine. The <br />Bourg Strip mine is located about five miles northwest of the Marr and Canadian Strip <br />mines. AlI three mines lie within the watershed of the Canadian River. <br />Shortly after receipt of the application, on April 17, 1981, the Division found the <br />application to be complete and suitable for review. On June 23, 1981, the Division <br />had completed its initial review and provided a Preliminary Adequacy Review (PAR), <br />including comments received from QSM to Wyoming Fuel Company. On July 28, 1981, the <br />Division received Wyoming Fuel Company's responses to the PAR. After reviewing the <br />responses and upon receipt of the OSM Apparent Completeness Review (ACR), the <br />Division sent Wyoming Fuel Company a letter containing the ACR and the unresolved <br />concerns of the Division on September 2, 1981. On September 14, 1981, tayoming Fuel <br />Company responded, including substantial changes to the mine plan. After careful. <br />review of all elements of the responses and further correspondence with Wyoming <br />Fuel Company, the Division has proposed approval of the application, with several <br />stipulations. <br />s <br />
