Collins Pit <br /> Rifle File Number 77-184 <br /> 625-3364 <br /> Other Portable Dear Mr. O ' Connor: <br /> Locations <br /> Pursuant to your letter of November 21 , 1983, Mobile <br /> Premix Company ' s response is as follows : <br /> 1. The occurrence of the flooding of Area No. 3 was brought <br /> on by the unusually high waters in the Cache La Poudre <br /> River; in particular, the stretch of river approximately <br /> 1/4 mile to the north of our property where the City had <br /> gone in the previous year of 1982 and constructed a <br /> bicycle path which reduced the grade of the historical <br /> PRODUCTS levee. Since the failure occurred on properties owned <br /> by others , Mobile Premix had no control over the failure <br /> Concrete or repair. <br /> Aggregates <br /> cafe 2 . As mentioned in item number 1, the failure occurred on <br /> Coarses the City ' s property and Mobile Premix could not rectify <br /> the problem. However, the City has began repair work on <br /> Asphalt the section that failed and it is anticipated that the <br /> Stones repairs will be completed in time for the spring runoff . <br /> LaoaRock I am sure that the delay in the repairs is a result of <br /> Landscape the high amount of rainfall that followed the spring <br /> Concrete Block runoff thus precluding any earthwork. <br /> 3 . The materials remaining in Area No. 3 are all below water. <br /> As of the first of the year, a pump was placed into the <br /> pit and future production will come out of Area No. 3 <br /> until completed. The disturbance in Area No. 4 is about <br /> AFFILIATES: <br /> Mobile Premix Concrete,Inc. a Mobile Premix Sand&Gravel Co. a Mobile Premix Transit, Inc. <br /> Mobile Premix, Inc. a Mobile Premix Concrete of Colorado Springs,Inc. a Mountain Mobile Mix,Inc. <br /> "MPM ard Safety/AGmat Mix" <br />
