Projects <br />completed or in progress include the following: <br />Environmental Impact Assessment <br />* Environmental Assessments (1992) - for USAID/Sri Lanka proposed <br />project developments to include (a) amendment to Mahaweli <br />Agricultural and Rural Development Project, (b) commercial <br />pineapple nursery, and (c) preparation of guidelines for <br />conducting Scoping Sessions for Environmental Assessments. <br />* Environmental Management/Impact Assessment (1991) - reviewed 30 <br />project proposals, and recommended impact assessment guidelines <br />as part of proposed World Bank funding schemes for Mexico. <br />* Environmental Management/Impact Assessment (1991) - developed <br />environmental impact assessment guidelines for the Transport <br />Sector in Honduras as part of proposed World Bank funding scheme. <br />* ffiivironmental Assessment (1991) - provided technical assistance <br />to community organizations and grassroots groups in the review of <br />environmental impact statement as part of propose~9 mining <br />development project in New Mexico. <br />* Environmental Assessment (1990) - detailed assessments of impacts <br />from proposed surface mining activities on existi:lg environmental <br />conditions, and evaluations of impacts from past ~~il and gas <br />development on efforts to reclaim soil, water, arni vegetation. <br />* Environmental Assessment (1990) - Team Leader and Biodiversity- <br />Tropical Forest Management specialist for assessment of <br />
