Long <br />Division Director <br />RE: Citizen Inquiry, Subsidence Monitoring Survey, Golden Eagle Mine, Permit No. C-81-013, <br />Basin Resources, Inc. <br />Dear Mr. Thompson: <br />On December 20, 1993 the Division received a letter from Mr. ]im Tatum, dated <br />December 16, 1993. In this letter Mr. Tatum stated that, in a sworn deposition by you, it was <br />revealed that there are two "previously denied bench marks" for subsidence checks just south of <br />the Tatum residence. <br />The Division would like to know if there are subsidence markers just south of the Tatum residence. <br />If so, the Division requests that Basin Resources submit any data from any subsidence markers <br />south of the Tatum residence, along with a map showing the markers' locations. <br />If you have any questions, please call me. <br />Sincerely, <br />~-~d ~{, <br />-rJoseph J.
