Long <br />Division Director <br />On November 21, 1994 I received a letter form the Legal Assistant <br />of Cyprus Amax Minerals Company ret~uesting a change in beginning <br />dates in AVS for owners and/or officers Cyprus Orchard Valley Coal <br />Corporation, Cyprus Empire Corporation, Colorado Yampa Coal Company <br />and Twentymile Coal Company. See attached letter for further <br />detail. <br />It appears that the beginning dates for various ownership and <br />control relationships were incorrect in AVS. These beginning dates <br />were taken directly from the Identification of Interest Section of <br />the Permits for the Orchard Valley Mine, Eagle 5 & 9, Eckman Park <br />No. 1 & 2 and the Foidel Creek Mine. Please see attached letter <br />for correct beginning dates. <br />These correct dates need to be reflected in the permit pages under <br />the Identification of Interest Section of the Permit. In the next <br />permitting action (renewal, midterm, minor revision etc...) please <br />have the operator submit a replacement page reflecting the correct <br />beginning dates of the relationships mentioned in the attached <br />letter. This is no big hurry, but should be taken of in the near <br />future.
