Ossola with the Las Animas Planning and Land Use Office. <br />Mr. Ossola has raised concerns about fugitive coal dust blowing from haul <br />trucks and coal stockpiles at the New Elk and Golden Eagle Mines, operated by <br />Basin Resources, Inc., and situated approximately 20 miles west of Trinidad, <br />Colorado. <br />Personnel from our office will be inspecting these mines this month to address <br />these issues.
