Colorado 80?01-6667 <br />August 17, 2006 <br />CO-0043 <br />On August 9, 2006, the U.S. Department of the Interior approved a new mining plan for Federal <br />lease C-62920 at National King Coal, LLC's King II Mine. This mining plan action relates to <br />Federal lands associated with the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology's Proposed <br />Decision and Findings of Compliance for Permit Revision No. 8, King Coal and King II mines, <br />C-81-035 approved on June 15, 2006. <br />• I have enclosed a copy of the mining plan approva] document and associated map for this new <br />mining plan. Please read the terms and conditions of the mining plan approval document <br />carefully.
