Based on the information <br />supplied, we believe the present nature of the proposed project azea is such that no impact to cultural <br />resources will occur. The two isolated finds (5LP7830 and SLP7831) previously recorded in the fifty-acre <br />);ast Alkali Mine stuvey area arc not eligible for the NRHP. <br />Should human remains be discovered during mining activities the requirements under State law CRS 24.80 <br />part 13 must be followed. Should previously unidentified archaeological resources be discovered dtuing <br />mining activities, work must be interrupted until the resources have been evaluated in terms of the National <br />Register of Historic Places criteria, 36 CFR 60.4, in consultation with this office. <br />Thank you for the opporRtniry to comment.
