Reportirsp Reouirements <br />Reporting -Active Mining Operations: The permittee will be required to submit an Annual Report, covering <br />January 1 through December 31 of each year, on their compliance with the SWMP. The Annual Report will <br />contain, at a minimum: <br />a) A report on the facility's overall compliance with the SWMP. <br />b) A summary of all comprehensive stormwater inspections made. <br />c) Results and interpretation of any stormwater monitoring performed. <br />The Annual Report will be due to the Division on or before February IS of each year (see Pan I.E.1 of the <br />permit). <br />2. Reporting -Inactive Mining Operations: The permittee will be required to submit a Compliance Report. <br />This report will contain, at a minimum.• <br />a) A report ors the facility's overall compliance with the SWMP. <br />b) A summary or copies of the annual inspection reports, or the triennial certiftcation by a Professional <br />Engineer that the facility is in compliance with the permit. <br />The report will be due to the Division on or before February 15, 1999, and will cover the period of time from <br />permit certification to December 31, 1998 (see Part I.E.1 of the permit). <br />3. Reporting - Remediation Projects: The permittee will 6e required to submit an Annual Report, covering <br />January 1 through December 31 of each year, on the compliance with the SWMP. The Annual Report will <br />contain, at a minimum: <br />a) A report on the facility's overall compliance with the SWMP, including a progress report on <br />remediation activities. <br />b) A summary of all comprehensive stormwater inspections made. <br />c) Results and interpretation of any stormwater monitoring performed. <br />The Annual Report will be due to the Division on ar before February IS of each year (see Part /.E.1 of the <br />permit). <br />Al[ reports required for submittal shall be signed and certified for accuracy by the permittee. (See Part I.E.2 of the <br />permit.) <br />E. Monitorin¢ <br />Sampling and testing of stormwater for specific parameters is not required on a routine basis under this permit. <br />However, the Division reserves the right to require sampling and testing, on a case-by-case basis, in the event that <br />there is reason to suspect that compliance with the SWMP is a problem, or to measure the effectiveness of the <br />BMPs in removing pollutants in the discharge. <br />F. Retention of Records <br />The permittee for active mining operations shall retain a copy of the SWMP required by this permit at the mining <br />site for the duration of this permit. The permittee for inactive mining operations or mine-waste remediation sites <br />shall retain a copy of the SWMP required by this permit, for the duration of this permit. For all types of <br />operations, the permittee shall retain copies of all other reports required by this permit and records of all data used <br />to complete the application to be covered 6y this permit, for a period of at least three years. <br />
