Computer requirement m nee the DMG document imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be instilled on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first tuna. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new ittstalffitlon of the software. 2, The CD or DVD that you purchase n ut stt be in the D: dr[ve. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to >x an image viewing application for .tif files on yow computer that will handle single and multi-page documems, On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pro-Windows XP computers does work. DMG has determined that a program called "LfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as yow defauk .tif viewer. DMG does not suppoR or endorse this software and the licensing and regisaation ere the user's rLSpoasibility. There are many other programs that work ae well, such as "Imaging Preview" and'Trnaging for Windows". Instructlona• 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD m install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Lteinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Pemtit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autumn, which note the QuickView ~ setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autumn program does NOT work, you will nced to manually install the QuickView program. Inshuctiona for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us. The Permit File doeument images can be viewed in the reception area of the DMG ofliee or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase coat coven the dme and labor of making the CD.
