A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be instilled on your computer in order to use a DAMS imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does sot require a sew itrstillation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that yon purchase >~ be in the D: drive. A DVD drive wlll read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain Sles with the .tif extension There rceda to be as image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single a~ multi-page document. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs am called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer' a< "Palm" and they do not work with tZuickView. The Imaging Viewer that coma with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DAMS has determined that a program called "IrDnView", which can be downloaded from ItfanView.com, does work with lZuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be coah'glned as your default .tif viewer. DAMS does Dot support or ealioree this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. Thera are many other programs that work as well, such as "IDmging Preview" avd "Imging for Wmdowa". Inetructions• 1. Insert tbe CD iron your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. Eject the /~ from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready ro view tha Permit Files. NOTE: A program called tZtiickView Autonm, which rims the QuickYiew setup program, has also been copied to this CD.
