Surface and Ground Water Monitoring - 2.05.6(3)(b)(iv) <br />The applicant will conduct monitoring of ground water in a manner approved by the <br />Division. The ground water monitoring plan can be found in Exhibit 14, Vol. Ila of <br />the permit document (4.05.13(1)). <br />2. The applicant will conduct monitoring of surface water in a manner approved by the <br />Division. The surface water monitoring plan can be found in Exhibit 14, Vol. IIa of <br />the permit document. Topsoil <br />No new surface disturbances are proposed with this permit revision, hence no topsoil is proposed to be <br />stripped. <br />V. Sealing of Drilled Holes and Underground Openings <br />The Division will require that each hole, well or other underground opening be capped, sealed, <br />backfilled, or otherwise properly managed (4.07.3). <br />VI. Use of Explosives <br />The explosives area at the Foidel Creek Mine was transferred from the Mine No. I, Mine No. 2, and <br />Eckman Park mine, Permit No. C-81-071. Surface blasting is limited to 5 pounds of explosives. No <br />explosives are proposed for use in this permit revision. No specific approvals are granted under this <br />section. <br />15 <br />
