Proper containment of hazazdous materials <br />would limit potential surface and groundwater contamination. <br />' 5.17 HEALTH AND SAFETY <br />Use of the cumulative impacts analysis azea by field construction and operating personnel and <br />the general public would lead to increased risk of wildfire; however, all would be required to <br />adhere to fire prevention measures in all activities. The potential for pipeline leaks or failure <br />exists; however, all permitted gas pipelines would have to meet stringent federal safety <br />requirements.
