III IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
999
R.cs. re~E
Documentation Notice;
Properties located east
of Primero along Highway 12
OCT ~$i~~o~~oioa;noo aioez
Division of Minerals ~ G ~
19 B59 5231
Fax;719-84.g-0421
Home: 719-846-0461
Pm perty owners Mr. Mike Duran and Mr. & Mrs. Dasko, both homes
are on the same property to be inspected.
This property is located approximately 18 miles west of Trinidad
Colorado to the north of the proposed area for demolition for the
purpose of strip mining operations.
The home owners residents for documentation are both newer home$
Mr. Durans home is approximately 6 years old, and the Dasko home
i~ a yesr old this .:.cnth.
The Duran home has a cinder-block foundation, while the Dasko
home is formed concrete foundation. Both homes are stick built,
with the entire first floor being taped and textured on the walls
and ceilings. There were no cracks or broken parts of the founda-
tion found on the day of inspection, on either house. The base-
ment in the Duran home is completely finished in drywall and tape
and textured on the walls and ceilings, with no moisture or crack-
ed areas even from settlement. I also found no fatigue or struc-
tural defects on either residence that would give way to demoli-
tion or shakes as eathquakes or explosion would do to either home.
I inspected the crawl in areas as well as outside areas that
v.ould be effected by tremers of any kind and found both locations
to be sound and free of deteriation or cracks.
All walls on the outside and the inside were also sound, with no
obvious cracks or defects from settlement or workmanship.
The kitchens and bathrooms in both houses are layed with ceramic
tile, I found no cracks or broken parts in either home.
As new as these two homes are, it will be very easy to see if
any damage will occur to them.
The windows are dual glass, and will have probabely more flex
than the standard glass used in older homes in the area.
This completes my evaluation, if a more detailed mention is
needed, plaese let me know what else is needed.
~~~~~
Than o ,
~~-- 1 ~,;5 c~cu f~c
Richard C.
