The plans require that approximately three feet of soil be excavated
from the pond floor. MCC has no projects currently underway to utilize this soil, so it is being
stockpiled to the west of the pond where the subsoil for the dike was stockpiled, per Minor
Revision No. 105. The area was previously disturbed by the subsoil stockpile and straw bales
have been installed to control sediment from the area. If no projects develop by the end of the
summer that will utilize the stockpiled soils and /or the soils from the dike, this soil will be hauled
to and stored in the Sylvester Gulch subsoil stockpile.
Please contact me should you have questions.
Sincerely,
~~~ ~~~~~
Kathleen G.
