<br />Lake City, Utah. The Motion requests approval of a settlement of <br />this adversary proceeding between the parties. CF&I brought this <br />action against Singer Steel alleging that certain transfers made to <br />it constitute avoidable preferences under 11 U.S.C. g 547(b). The <br />parties have agreed to settle the matter with Singer Steel making a <br />payment of $5,972 and being permitted to file an unsecured claim in <br />the same amount or an amended unsecured claim including such an <br />amount. Copies of the Motion and the related settlement agreement <br />may be obtained by request from the undersigned counsel for CF&I. <br />PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that, pursuant Lo Rule 523(b1 of <br />the Rules of Practice of the United States Ba:.kruptcy Court for the <br />District of Utah, objections to the Motion must be submitted in <br />writing, filed with the Bankruptcy Court, and served upon the <br />undersigned counsel on or before Thursday, the 6th day of May, <br />1993. Absent timely filing and service of objections, the hearing <br />may be stricken and the relief sought in the Motion may be granted <br />by the Court without further notice or hearing.
