Long <br />Division Dueclnr <br />The Division has reviewed the letter you plan to send to property owners who were <br />undermined by the Red Canyon Mine. This letter will be provided to satisfy the <br />notice requirements in Rules 2.07.6(2)(d)(v) and 4.20.2. This letter was <br />stipulated, along with two other issues, upon approval of the 1993 permit renewal <br />application. <br />The Division will~coneider this letter adequate to fulfill the requirements of <br />the regulations if the following items are added: <br />1. The legal description of the Red Canyon Mine should be provided <br />which includes all areas undermined or within the angle of draw. <br />2. To make the description of where mining took place more clear, <br />provide the location of the portals. The legal description of the <br />portals would be Sufficient. <br />3. This Letter should be sent to all current property owners who own <br />property above the undermined area and who are within the angle of <br />draw. The Division should receive a list of all owners this letter <br />will be sent to. <br />Once these changes have been made, please transmit a copy of the revised letter <br />to the Division. <br />Please call if you have any questions. <br />Christine E.
