SECTION III -STATUS OF STIPULATIONS <br />No stipulations have been added to the Blue Ribbon Mine permit since the renewal in <br />1997. All stipulations previously added to the permit have been complied with. <br />Following is a summary of stipulations. <br />Blue Ribbon Stipulation Status <br />Stipulation 1 <br />Blue Ribbon Coal Company shall provide a map which specifically indicates those <br />intervals on the haul road cut slopes which expose greater than 10.5 feet of colluvium. In <br />addition, cut slopes on the haul road which have had visually perceptible movement at <br />the date of permit issuance will be indicated on the map. For both areas specified on the <br />map as either greater than 10.5 feet of colluvial material in the haul road cut slopes or <br />existing movement zones, Blue Ribbon Coal Company shall comply with the <br />recommendations pertaining to required slope treatment included in the forthcoming haul <br />road study. The required field work the above-mentioned map, and a report defining <br />corrective measures, if slope treatment is required, shall be submitted to the Division for <br />approval within 30 days of permit issuance. <br />Status: Complied with January 10, 1983. <br />Stipulation 2 <br />Blue Ribbon Coal Company shall revision Exhibit F or otherwise amend the permit <br />application to ensure protection of established riparian vegetation adjacent to Pond 1. A <br />revised Exhibit F or other amendment demonstrating protection of the ripazian habitat <br />must be submitted to the Division within 30 days of permit issuance. <br />Status: Forgiven September 24, 1984 <br />Stpulation 3 <br />Blue Ribbon Coal Company shall provide an acceptable stability analysis of the proposed <br />backfilled configuration of all mine facilities and the haul road, including an appropriate <br />material shear strength testing report. This stability analysis shall demonstrate <br />compliance with the static slope safety factor requirements of Rule 4.27.4(1) This <br />acceptable stability analysis shall be submitted to the Division within 60 days of permit <br />issuance. <br />Status: Complied with January 10, 1983. <br />Simulation 4 <br />
