Computer requirements to use the DBMS document imaging CD (or DVD): I. A program called lZstickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DBMS imaging CD the fast time. Fuhue use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi-page dacutta:nts. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing progmms aze called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView, The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DBMS has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DBMS does not support or endorse this softwaze and the licensing and registration aze the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Instructlons• Insert the CD into your computer. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which nms the QtrickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program Instmctions for manually installing lZtrickView aze available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us. The Permit File document images can be viewed in the reception area o[the DBMS office or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase coat rovers the time and labor of making the CD. DBMS cannot provide comouter related suooort.
