Sump level fluctuations will be
controlled by regulating the inflow and/or the outflow of the
water.
There will be 4 evaluation points est.abliahed on the intake aide
of the sump, and 2 evaluetiori points established on the return
side of tt,e sump, i.e.; an evaluation point will be established
in each entry of the sump area. The evaluation points will be
established at the toe of tho water line. Checlt curtains will be
set, and maintained, in the cross-cuts between evaluation points
to improve point evaluation.
The sump area (all evaluatior, points) will be checked in
accordance with 30CFR75.364, and the rosultc recorded.
Somerset Mining Company is requesting approval of this area for
use as a water sump.
