Lochhead
Executive Director
Michael B. Long
Division Director
The Division has received your Notice of Intent dated August 1,
1995 for the soil test holes in the SW1/4 of Section 14, TSN, R86W
of the 6th P.M.
After receipt of the right-to-enter information submitted on August
2, 1995, the Division finds your application to be complete for the
purposes of filing. Rule 2.02.2(3) requires that the Division
review the notice and make a determination as to whether the
proposed activities will substantially disturbed the natural land
surface, as defined by Rule 1.04(127).
After review of Rule 1.04(127) and the activities as specified in
your application, the Division finds that the proposed activity
will not substantially disturb the natural land surface and thus
does not qualify as coal exploration. Therefore, you may proceed
with the activities within the framework of the plan outlined in
your application.
Please be advised that although this activity is outside your
permit area and does not qualify as coal exploration, TCC remains
subject to inspection and compliance as per the approved plan.
If you have questions, please call me.
Sin r 1 ,
~~J~
nt A.
