All holes are cased with PVC pipe, fiberglass pipe, or steel pipe. Most are protected <br />with T-posts and wire, or tires. In addition to the holes, there are numerous sections of rebaz and <br />T-posts marking proposed hole locations, which were never drilled. A deteriorating weather <br />monitoring tower remains on site. <br />~~ur coal exploration license expired on October 30, 1981. BLM holds a $10,000 surety pond, <br />#13-20-28, through National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, PA. <br />Please submit to this office, by January 3, 2000, a plan for plugging all holes not required by the State <br />of Colorado for groundwater monitoring of Pit #1. The plan should include information on the <br />plugging method and materials to be used, time schedule, and plans for restoring surface r'zmage and <br />removal of all personal property such as tires, rebar, T-posts, the a rather station, and drit..
