acre-feet to a maximum of 22.75 acre-feet between April and July. Consumptive use occurs in the
growing season between April 24 through October 25.
REPLACEMENTS
Source of Replacement
D. H. Holding has signed a contract with GASP (Attachment 3) to obtain water during April,
October, November and December. GASP has acquired this water from discharges into Willow
Creek from the Willows Water and Sanitation District in Englewood, CO.
Method of Re~acement
GASP has acquired water from Willows Water and Sanitation District and has made arrangements
to distribute it for augmentation purposes. Willows Water and Sanitation District monitors their
discharges.
Timingplacement
Water will be replaced according to Table 2 to balance total depletions at the site.
Augmentation Replacements
Table 2 shows the replacement requirements for stream depletions, the available return flows and the
excess or debit flow from the returned flow. D.H. Holding requires 3.99 acre-feet in April, 2.23 acre-
feet in October, 3.89 acre-feet in November, and 3.67 acre-feet in December.
CONCLUSIONS
D. H. Holding proposes to replace water lost from evaporation and product loss with waters from
GASP for the 1999 calendar year. The total amount of water available for return flow to the South
Platte River from the pumped water required for operations is sufficient to cover the losses from
evaporation and the wash/sieve cycle for most months of the year, as shown in final column of Table
2; Excess or Debit. The months in which a debit is shown and an augmentation is required are April,
October, November, and December, as shown in the table. The total amount of required water
augmentation is 13.78 acre-feet per year.
